The September Wishlist

Hello Lovelies!

Today I thought I'd start a new monthly feature on my blog (I do love a old good monthly feature) which would be a list of the top five things I most want to have in my life this month. I like this idea for a couple of reasons, one because it's nice to put some of the wishlists I'm always writing in my notepads onto my blog for other people to see and two because it'll give you'll give you a little preview of the exciting new things I might be featuring in posts soon as I do fully intend to actually get all these items somehow, where there's a will there's a way and all that jazz...

1. Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in 'Tipsy' $25 Sephora- The Reason I have a cheeky American cult favourite in my list is because my parents are off to Chicago on Thursday and this is one of the main things I've asked them to bring back for me. A gorgeous blush that comes with viviannadoesmakeup's recommendation, what more could you want?
2. Black studded court shoes £29.99 New Look- Just before every fresher's week I feel the need to get some new heels as you end up going out so much and this year I think I'd like to add these black heels with on trend studs at the back to my collection as they'll go with everything whilst adding a bit of edgy detail. And because I just heart studs a lot right now.
3. Spiked collar chiffon blouse £17.99 Funkydivaa- Nearly all the shopping trips I've been on this summer have involved me searching for my holy grail sheer collared studded long sleeved white shirt. However with that many requirements I've always struggled to find it, so now I've turned to the world wide web and found quite a few reasonably priced tops that fit the extensive bill like this one from Funkydivaa.
4. The Disco Pant £70 American Apparel- Clearly a very un-budget like item, but in my eyes totally necessary for me to own in order to get through the rest of my life, which is why I've also begged my parents to bring a pair back from America with them for me as they're a more reasonable £50 over there. Fingers crossed I'll be showing these babies off in an outfit post soon.
5. Origins Out of Trouble mask £20 Origins- I'm pretty late on the bandwagon with Origins skincare and skincare in general really. However, I'm keen to start spending a bit more on my skin and a bit less on the make up I shove on it so thought this mask which helps prevent break outs and makes skin brighter would be a good place to start.

What's on your September wishlist?

I'm having a chill out Monday partly sunbathing in the garden and partly watching the Paralympics so not much to report there apart from the fact I restarted the 30 day shred again this morning after killing myself on only day one of it last week! I did have a very nice time yesterday though as we had a little family get together for my grandparent's 51st wedding anniversary, they're so cute and in love and such an inspiration.

Have a lovely rest of your day in the sunshine!
Love Meg

  1. I love the shirt! Great price too! Oh that'd be handy if your parents can bring back some discopants for cheaper. They are so expensive!! I'm watching the paralympics too - loving it
