Zara Sweater / Primark Skirt / Edinburgh Woolen Shop Scarf / M&S Tights / New Look Boots / Michael Kors Watch / Ciate 'ferris wheel' / Revlon 'Crush' Balm Stain
I don't know about you, but as soon as February hits my head and wishlists are full of Spring fashion and I literally have to restrain myself from digging out the denim short shorts and floral crops! However, as the weather isn't quite inkeeping with my plans to flaunt the florals (and flesh) I've decided to make the most of my wintery wardrobe by putting together a little weekend outfit with my more 'end of season' items. This past season has been all about the tartan and pleather and to be honest I'm not sure it's a combination I ever really get over- the edginess of leather look combined with classic tartan colour pop is just such a winner in my books and a trend I'm sure will come back around September time. I'm actually sporting two new items in this outfit too- my Zara crop sweater and New Look fedora. The sweater was an absolute steal in the January sales and is such a timeless piece I know I'll combine with levi's and converse during the summer months. The fedora on the other hand is something rather new to me that will take a bit more courage to rock casually down the highstreet (If you've seen the kind of clothes worn in my town you'd understand!). My Dad has already asked me if I'm getting ready for Halloween but I really love the way the hat looks in these photos and instantly finishes an outfit so it shall be accompanying me to fashion week in a few days time. Even if I do look like I'm auditioning for Wicked...
I've got to say thanks for Becca for taking these photos for me yesterday, it's so much easier getting blog/youtube content when you're hanging out with another blogger! After spending a fun day with her I came back home to Kent and have spent a gorgeous day relaxing with my boyfriend/parents and lunching with the girls before having a tea date with the grandparents tomorrow. Home is too cute!
What are your end of season staples?
