A few weeks ago me and the rest of the Gunn family took a little road trip to the birthday party of one of our favourite family friends. One of the best things about this party was the Hollywood theme which I saw as the perfect excuse to go all out with hair, make up and outfit (well, obviously.) and I took great pleasure in getting my glam on! Make up wise I decided to break the 'eyes or lips' rule (If Marilyn did it, so can I) and pair a flawless, glowing base with smokey eyes and berry lips. The eyes were courtesy of a cracking cream shadow from Benefit blended with charcoal powders and lined with the Master Smokey Shadow pencil ,which is just the best and smudgiest liner for creating a cat eye. I finished the look with lashings of my go to mascara and the best berry lipstick in the drugstore. Thanks Miss Moss. This make up lasted all night and I thought it went pretty damn well with the cream River Island dress and curled side do to create very classic red carpet glam. I wanted to include a photo of my lovely sister too who brought her amazing 50's pin up style to the party with a curled red bob and full Grease style dress. We might look super composed here but I assure you we didn't look quite so elegant after a few glasses of vino and some serious time on the dance floor!

I'll be getting a different kind of glam on tomorrow as I've got two of my best home girls coming to visit me in my new flat (the full new job post will be coming very soon I promise) and we're going on our first big Essex night out. Pass the fake tan...

Do you love getting your glam on as much as me?
