Hello Lovelies!
I've just got in from such a fun day out in London as me and my Mum went for very posh afternoon tea at the Montcalm hotel on Park Lane, which was my birthday present to her. I thought I'd show you what I wore and some photos of the day because Olympic London is pretty exciting!
Top- Miss Selfridge
Skirt- Primark
Ankle socks- Primark
Brogues- ASDA
Belt- New Look
Satchel- Miss Selfridge
Jewellery- Usual
Both me and my Mum thought we'd go for a bit of a patriotic coloured outfit seeing as London is Team GB crazy at the moment, but I needed the phone box to add some red to mine! I couldn't believe when I found this cute dipped hem skirt in Primark for only a tenner and I love teaming it with a pretty blouse and cute shoes and socks to make it a nice smart casual sort of outfit.
Now onto some yummy afternoon tea type snaps...
The Montcalm hotel was gorgeous and so was all the food! We also did a spot of shopping along Oxford Street and I was very lucky to get some free samples from the Benefit counter at John Lewis and be treated to the Topshop lipstick 'Whimsical' by my Mum which I've wanted for ages. The Topshop make up counter is amazing in Oxford Street so I think buying me a lipstick was the only way my Mum could get me to leave hahaa
As you can see from the photo below I also got a bit swatch happy at the MAC counter in Selfridges but I've narrowed down the lipsticks I want to Creme d'Nude, Hue, Shy Girl and Cut a Caper (any help deciding what to get first would be welcomed!)
And just to finish this photo heavy post with some more photos, here's a couple of 'London being all sporty and patriotic' pics...
What do you think of my tea time outfit and where are your favourite places to shop in London?
After having such a nice day today I'm now looking forward to having another one tomorrow as I'm going shopping again but with my boyfriend (It's a good job I'm amazing at window shopping!) as he needs to get some nice smart things for his internship which he starts in London next week, exciting times!
I hope you've all had a great week!
Love Meg

I adore your outfit! My favourite place to shop in London is DEFINITELY Oxford Street( and Bond Street, around that area) I love the huge Topshop there and always end up spending like half a day in there! Selfridges is another favourite of mine, and the new Victoria's Secret on New Bond Street is amazing too!
