5 Skin Sins (which are easy to stop!)

This #SkincareSunday I wanted to bring you 5 big skin sins I was guilty of until recently, which are actually so easy to avoid... simply stopping them has changed my skin dramatically from grumpy and congested to a right clear happy chappy! They may seem simple but sometimes a little look at your daily skincare naughtiness can do so much more than expensive products can...

1. Working out with makeup on.
2. Touching your face.
3. Lazy cleansing (without water).
4. Using concealer applicators straight on the skin.
5. Using abrasive or acidic skincare every day.

Add in barefaced sleep and water and voilĂ , you've got sensational skin!

Do you have any skin sins to confess? On a side note, a very Happy Mother's Day to you all!

  1. I'm terrible for touching my skin, the only time I don't is when I have make up on! That's one habit I seriously need to break, and asap! :(

  2. I'm so bad with my skin, I do try and go through periods where I am really good with it but it takes so much time! The one thing I do almost everytime now though is take off my makeup using cleansing water and moisturise my face before I put makeup on, the cleansing water makes SUCH a difference! x

  4. I'm constantly touching my skin that I hardly even notice myself doing it half the time (so bad I know) - something I need to work on!

  5. This post was super helpful Meg! <3 I have a really lazy habitat of not cleaning my makeup brushes as often as I should, and the difference in my skin after I have washed them is amazing! megscharlotte.blogspot.co.uk

  6. Might be a silly question, but how do you apply concealer without touching the applicator to the skin?

    1. I guess this really depends on the type of applicator the concealer is packaged in. For instance, I use MAC's Prolong Wear concealer which comes with a mini pump. I usually squirt a pump onto the back of my hand and dab the product onto my undereye area X

  7. I often remove my make-up extremely late at night, long after I get in as I just cba to do it right away :( X
